Ad tag inspector
Read an ad tag or click tracker without firing it. Extract literal URLs, declared sizes, common macros, and recognizable CM360 identifiers.
Paste the original tag as text. The inspector explains recognizable parts without opening URLs or rendering the ad.
Your inputs stay in this browser tab. Files and tags are processed in an isolated workspace, without advertising or analytics scripts.
How to use it
- Paste an HTML tag, script tag, iframe tag, or click-tracking URL.
- Review literal URLs, dimensions, macros, and recognized identifiers. Unrecognized formats remain visible as text.
- Download the findings and verify unresolved fields with the tag provider. Use the platform preview for live behavior.
Worked example · sample data
A CM360 URL containing /ddm/adi/N123.456EXAMPLE/B789.1234;sz=300x250;ord=[timestamp]? exposes network token N123.456EXAMPLE, campaign token 789, placement token 1234, size 300 × 250, and a timestamp macro. The tool does not send an impression.
Before you use the result
Extraction is static and heuristic. A parameter name alone is not enough to identify its meaning across every platform.
Encoded, obfuscated, or dynamically assembled tags may yield incomplete results. Seeing a macro does not confirm that the receiving platform will replace it.
This tool does not test tracking, redirects, consent handling, ad delivery, or security. It never executes pasted code or fetches the URLs it finds.
